Sunday's football betting tips

Not too sure how Saturday's picks have gone as this is a scheduled post written on Friday but hopefully the games went to form. Obviously that's up in the air given the nature of the beast but over time sticking to what you know will bring a profit, as the whole stats of 2011 show.


Sunday's fixture prove to be quite tricky to call but one thing I can is goals and that's where we focus our attentions in the latest quest for profit.


My main bet, given that I don't know how Saturday's games went, is a conservative 2pt TREBLE that pays out 13.92pts on the following selections:

• Cardiff City vs Leicester City - Total goals OVER 2.5 @ 10/11 - nPower Championship
• Auxerre vs Sochaux - Both teams to score = YES @ 10/11 - French Ligue 1
• GAIS vs Helsingborgs - Total goals OVER 2.5 @ 10/11 - Swedish Allsvenskan

I am also placing a 1pt FIVEFOLD that pays out 18.52pts on the three selections above along with the two below:

• Lazio vs Palermo - Both teams to score = YES @ 7/10 - Italian Serie A
• Werder Bremen vs Hertha Berlin - Total goals OVER 2.5 @ 6/10 - German Bundesliga
