Wednesday's football betting tips

Ah a frustrating night last night with two of the three selections coming home safely and pretty comfortably in the end but a surprise 3-1 home loss for Gillingham against Barnet in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

It's even more frustrating as I was debating whether to go for the OVER 2.5 goals market but felt more confident of a straight forward Gillingham win but hey ho. 


You can have all of the play but if you fail to take your chances then you will always leave yourself open to an opposition comeback and to be fair to Barnet, who were outplayed in the 1st half, they took their chances and progress.


We move on tonight sage in the knowledge that 8 of my previous 10 picks have come home so we are warming up this month quite nicely but hopefully we have no surprise results tonight.

• Shamrock Rovers to beat Bohemiams @ 1/2 - Irish Airtricity Premier League
• Brescia to beat Gubbio @ 4/11 - Italian Serie B
