Well we ended the month of January with a small profit but that's not good enough for me, I wanted a lot more and hopefully we can get that in February again, as per 12 months ago.

We also have a secondary bet with a 1pt FIVEFOLD that returns 125.13pts on the following selections:

• Leicester City to beat Middlesbrough @ EVENS - nPower Championship
• Ghana to beat Guinea @ 5/6 - African Cup of Nations
• Valencia vs Barcelona - Draw @ 11/4 - La Liga
• Lazio to beat AC Milan @ 9/5 - Serie A

Lastly, despite not winning, Rickie Fowler put in another good solid performance at Torrey Pines and I reckon he will make the top 5 this week, if not win it, so I have gone for the following:

• Rickie Fowler to win the Waste Management Phoenix Open - 1.5pt e/w @ 25/1

That's a chunky 6.5pt outlay on the 1st of the month!
