Football betting tips for Thursday 10th January 2013

Such a shame yesterday as we had some solid picks but were let down by Chelsea's failure to score at least one goal yesterday. It's much easier to handle when one of the tighter calls lets you down but when it's one of the bankers it's always harder.

However, that is the nature of the beast.

Today we go for a 3pt TREBLE that returns 13.87pts on the following selections:

• Coventry City vs Preston North End - Both teams to score = YES @ 8/13 - Johnstone's Paint Trophy
• Getafe vs Athletico Madrid - Total goals OVER 2.5 @ 10/11 - Spanish Copa del Rey
• Real Betis to beat Las Palmas @ 1/2 - Spanish Copa del Rey

That is all for tonight.
