Football betting tips for 20th June 2012

Congratulations to England on advancing to the quarter-finals of the European Championships in the face of various problems and obstacles.

England manager Roy Hodgson
Roy Hodgson has certainly delivered the minimum viable success demanded from the fans and indeed the FA in general so everything that happens from now on in is purely a Brucie bonus as some would say.

That said I believe that England shoul;d not rest on their laurels and should now be optimistic of reaching their first semi final since 1996 and only their second in a tournament overseas.

Italy are no longer the power houses that they once were and, whilst the game will be a tight, I fully expect England to progress to meet old foes Germany in the final hurdle before the grand final.

Anyway, whilst England might be on the up we are certainly on the down so we hope to turn things around with the following picks:

  • Lahti to beat Haka @ 6/5 - Finnish Veikkausliiga
  • Brommapojkarna to beat Varberg @ 6/10 - Swedish Superettan
  • Ljungskile to beat Degerfors @ 4/6 - Swedish Superettan
  • Valerenga to beat Sandefjord @ 3/4 - Norwegian Cup

A 2.5pt FOURFOLD pays out 25.66pts but you might just want to pick 2 or 3 from the above but that's up to you.
