Cibulkova all over

With 8 out of 8 so far on Monday's tennis selections the baton falls to Dominika Cibulkova to pass the final hurdle against Mirjana Lucic and to bring home the bacon. It's one of the tighter picks from the original selections but she 'should' be too strong for her lower ranked opponent and the action kicks off on court 15 from 12pm today.


If all goes well then The Canary can expect a profit of 23.07pts which is very handsome indeed, particularly as my main focus is usually on the football picks. The tennis is a bit of fun really whilst the footballers take their summer breaks but that doesn't mean that money can't be made. Ok so I have to usually go for more selections due to the poor odds but there are some tighter games out there where money can be made. The beauty of tennis is that the player's ability usually decides the result rather than bad luck, poor referee decisions or your team mates letting you down.


Anyway football is my focus and today it proves to be quite tricky picking out the value but hopefully we can bring home some extra points to bolster the pockets. My main bet for today is a 2pt TREBLE that returns 9.33pts on the following selections:

• Assyriska to beat Vasteras @ 4/5
• Haugesund to beat Viking @ 8/11
• Tromso to beat Alta @ 1/2

In addition I have spotted two potential away victories with good value on the odds. Not entirely confident given the tough nature of the games but I am going to risk a mere 1pt on the DOUBLE that would return 7.5pts if both of the following picks come in:

• Degefors to beat Falkenberg @ 2/1
• Hammarby to beat Jonkopings Sodra @ 6/4

All five selections pay out 34.98pts on a 1pt FIVEFOLD. That takes my total lay for the football today to 4pts.

Moving on to the tennis and I have a 2pt ACCUMULATOR that returns 24.19pts on the following selections:

That's a total lay of 6pts for today but of course I only need one of the above bets to come in to make a profit so fingers cross the roll continues.
