And we're off!

Well you have got to hand it to Arsene Wenger after he successfully guided Fulham to 3 points yesterday after two late goals handed them a 2-1 home win against Arsenal which resulted in 8.74pts profit for The Canary.

Arsenal were leading 1-0 going in to half time and we looking very comfortable indeed and should in theory had been leading by more goals.

Once again someone else is at fault for Arsenal dropping points.
However, for some reason Wenger's boys in red just sat back and tried defending the 1-0 lead for the whole of the 2nd half thus allowing Fulham to mount attack after attack. Luckily enough one of the Premier League's mystery men, Johan Djourou, got himself sent off to aid Fulham's comeback even further and two late goals meant that we hit the 4pt DOUBLE as Charlton Athletic comfortably beat Brentford earlier in the day.

Why is Johan Djourou a mystery? Well he somehow gets a regular game in the Premier League despite being a worse players than the likes of Pascal Cygan, William Prumier and Marc Booger. The bloke is awful, simple as that.

Anyway, as usual Wenger has found someone else to blame for losing the plot once again.

Moving on and tonight we see three Premier League ties and one nPower Championship tie that all should prove to be good tight games this evening.

My main bet for tonight is a 4pt DOUBLE that returns 14pts on the following selections:

  • Manchester City vs Liverpool - Both teams to score = YES @ 10/11 - Barclays Premier League
  • Tottenham Hotspur to be leading at HT & FT vs West Brom @ 5/6 - Barclays Premier League
My secondary bet for tonight is a 1pt FOURFOLD that returns 20.69pts on the following selections:
  • Manchester City vs Liverpool - Both teams to score = YES @ 10/11 - Barclays Premier League
  • Tottenham Hotspur to be leading at HT & FT vs West Brom @ 5/6 - Barclays Premier League
  • Sunderland to beat Wigan Athletic @ 7/4 - Barclays Premier League
  • Bristol City to beat Millwall @ 23/20 - nPower Championship
That makes a total return of 34.69pts for the 5pts on stake.

I won't be going through all of the key stats for tonight though, not got the time!
